The Supplier Business Analyst plays a critical role in delivering actionable insights through the creation, maintenance, and optimization of reporting. Working at the intersection of data and strategy, this position supports the company by transforming raw data into meaningful analysis that drives business decisions and supports supplier customers’ goals. This role demands attention to detail, an analytical mindset, and familiarity with the dynamics of the beverage alcohol industry.

Essential Duties / Responsibilities

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to understand requirements and create clear, insightful reports to support suppliers’ strategy. 
  • Manage a field execution platform to analyze and report on collected data from the field. 
  • Analyze the data and provide the business with recommended action plans to achieve sales objectives and goals 
  • Develop key performance indicator reporting aligned with the strategic goals, to support the organization with performance. 
  • Perform regular data integrity checks and troubleshoot any discrepancies to ensure accuracy of data and resulting reports. 
  • Maintain data tables including account universes, product masters, and personnel hierarchies. 
  • Ownership of the scheduling and distribution of standard reports across teams and ensure delivery through established channels.

Job Requirements

Essential Skills, Experience, and Education 

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A/B.S) in Business, Data Analytics or related field or 3+ years of experience in business analytics 
  • Knowledge of task management/field execution platforms such as GoSpotCheck 
  • Experience with Dimensional Insight’s Diver or other BI software 
  • Familiar with syndicated data sources (e.g., Nielsen, IRI, VIP) 
  • Advanced experience in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, advanced formulas, etc. 
  • Understanding of third-party data collection systems and adept at diagnosing and resolving data inconsistencies or reporting issues. 
  • Skilled at balancing competing priorities and meeting tight deadlines. 
  • Strong communicator with a service-orientated mindset and the ability to convey technical topics to supplier customers and non-technical audiences. 
  • Detail orientated with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Pay Range

The annual salary for this role ranges from $‎66,560.00 - $‎81,024.00. Compensation will be determined by candidate experience, skills, and location.
